Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Dispatcher to join our team at Jim Hudson Automotive Group. As a Service Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain timely and professional contact with service customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Repair Order Management: Ensure proper repair order documentation, including complaint, cause, and correction noted on every repair order with punch time for each operation.
  • Inventory Management: Schedule maintenance for service department vehicles and equipment, and prepare a list of needed service department equipment, supplies, and required repairs.
  • Parts Coordination: Coordinate parts requirements with the parts department, and contact special-order parts customers immediately upon receipt of parts orders to schedule appointment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a service dispatch or operations role preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software applications.
  • Work Environment: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
  • Background and Screening: Must pass background test and drug screening prior to employment.
