Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service and support to all customers.
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through cold calls, referrals, networking, and business meetings.
  • Communicate proactively with carriers and customers to ensure a smooth freight movement process.
  • Schedule and manage pickup and delivery appointments with attention to variables such as traffic, weather, and service rules.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate information in the company's operating system.
  • Utilize DAT Power to secure freight capacity and analyze market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/military experience.
  • At least 1 year of transportation industry experience.
  • Established book of business ready for a seamless transition.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion within authorized limits.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
