We are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to enhance our service team.

In this role, you will be essential in managing phone inquiries and facilitating policy modifications for our diverse clientele, with a significant emphasis on commercial accounts. Your responsibilities will include handling essential documentation such as certifications and proofs of insurance, as well as addressing any pending cancellations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to foster and maintain client relationships through exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing 6-17 calls each day, ensuring that every interaction is conducted efficiently and professionally. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in cross-selling initiatives, with the potential to earn a commission on successful sales to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily phone inquiries, addressing client needs and implementing policy changes for both personal and commercial insurance.
  • Concentrate on commercial insurance accounts, overseeing necessary documentation and managing any pending cancellations.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to strengthen client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Respond to client calls in a timely manner, aiming to answer within three rings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to effectively manage tasks related to pending cancellations and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in promoting additional services such as umbrella insurance and auto coverage to current clients.
  • Implement personalized communication strategies to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure all client interactions are conducted with professionalism and a personal touch, prioritizing client needs.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Property and Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, particularly within the insurance sector, focusing on commercial lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Dependable and customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to client interactions, ensuring prompt responses and satisfaction.
