We are currently in search of a dedicated Customer Service Representative to enhance our service team.

In the role of Customer Service Representative, you will be essential in managing phone inquiries and executing policy modifications for both commercial and personal clients. This position emphasizes commercial accounts, where you will oversee certifications, proofs of insurance, and pending cancellations.

The ideal candidate will have a meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to nurture and develop client relationships through tailored service, which is the cornerstone of our client loyalty. You will be responsible for managing 6-17 calls daily, ensuring each interaction is handled efficiently and professionally. Furthermore, you will support cross-selling initiatives, with the potential to earn a 50% commission on cross-sells to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 6-17 phone calls daily, addressing inquiries and implementing policy changes for both personal and commercial clients.
  • Concentrate on commercial insurance clients, handling certifications, proofs of insurance, and pending cancellations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to strengthen and maintain client relationships.
  • Respond to client calls promptly, ensuring calls are answered within three rings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to distribute tasks related to pending cancellations and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in cross-selling additional services such as umbrella insurance and auto coverage to existing clients.
  • Implement personalized outreach campaigns to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure all client interactions are conducted with professionalism and a personal touch, prioritizing client needs over leads from the internet.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Property and Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, particularly within the insurance sector, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain strong client relationships.
  • Dependable and customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proactive and responsive, with the ability to promptly answer calls and ensure client satisfaction.
