Job Overview

Currently, we are in search of a dedicated Customer Service Representative to enhance our service team.

In the role of Customer Service Representative, you will be instrumental in managing phone inquiries and processing policy modifications for our commercial and personal clientele. This position primarily emphasizes commercial accounts, where you will oversee certifications, proofs of insurance, and pending cancellations.

The successful candidate will exhibit a strong attention to detail and a passion for nurturing client relationships through personalized service, which is the cornerstone of our client loyalty. You will be expected to handle between 6 to 17 calls daily, ensuring each interaction is conducted efficiently and professionally. Additionally, you will support cross-selling initiatives, with the potential to earn a 50% commission on successful cross-sells to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 6-17 incoming calls daily, addressing client inquiries and executing policy adjustments for both personal and commercial accounts.
  • Concentrate on commercial insurance clients, handling certifications, proofs of insurance, and managing pending cancellations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to cultivate and reinforce client relationships.
  • Ensure prompt response to client calls, aiming to answer within three rings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to efficiently manage tasks related to pending cancellations.
  • Assist in cross-selling additional services, such as umbrella insurance and auto coverage, to our existing clientele.
  • Develop and implement personalized communication strategies to boost client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure all client interactions are conducted with professionalism and a personal touch, prioritizing client needs over internet leads.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Property and Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, particularly within the insurance sector, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Dependable and customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and responsive, ensuring prompt call handling and client satisfaction.
