As a member of the Blue Origin Engines team, you will engage in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of propulsion systems and engines. Our diverse array of engines supports the next generation of launch vehicles across various sectors, including commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight. We are a collaborative team dedicated to fostering innovation and ensuring safety as we work towards our vision of moving environmentally harmful industries off Earth and into space.

In this position, you will work closely with a dedicated team to troubleshoot hardware challenges in flight engine production and enhance the design of rocket engine components. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating the transition to a production environment, driving improvements in manufacturability, and refining assembly processes. You will take charge of implementing design modifications and ensuring precision in CAD models and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and rectifying non-conforming hardware issues
  • Creating design enhancements for rocket engine components
  • Promoting design for manufacturability improvements
  • Revising assembly protocols for flight engines
  • Executing modifications within CAD models and technical drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in component design, fabrication, assembly, and build processes
  • Expertise in 3D CAD and configuration management software
  • Understanding of GD&T principles and their application
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Must fulfill U.S. citizenship or residency criteria
