About the Role

Hilltop Holdings Inc., a diversified financial holding company, is seeking a skilled Learning and Development Manager to support its business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Training: Collaborate with leadership to deliver consistent training programs to service employee groups.
  • Curriculum Development: Design, develop, and implement training programs that support business objectives, employee development, and company culture.
  • Training Needs Analysis: Work closely with HR and functional leaders to conduct training needs analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance Training: Oversee the required annual compliance training program and other focused training initiatives.
  • Training Administration: Provide curriculum and instructional design, project management, and LMS support to ensure effective training delivery.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Establish metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and ensure trainings are cost-effective and within budget.
  • LMS Support: Support the administration of the Learning Management System, including user group creation, course assignment, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Commute: Must be able to commute to the company's location without relocation assistance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, OD, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources/Learning and Development, with a background in curriculum design, project management, and LMS support.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, technical writing background, and public speaking skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient use of Articulate 360 course authoring tools and knowledge of current training methods and technologies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work with ambiguity, adapt to changing organizational needs, and meet strict deadlines.
