Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Franchise Business Consultant to join our team at ServiceMaster. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving franchisee sales and profit growth, coaching for operational excellence, and enforcing brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales, marketing, and financial plans for each franchisee to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct business evaluations, track progress, and provide recommendations to improve performance and growth.
  • Provide training and guidance to franchisees on financial analysis tools, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reviews.
  • Identify business needs and opportunities to improve performance and growth by leveraging company operating systems or resources.
  • Facilitate learning and sharing of best practices through group presentations and face-to-face training.
  • Ensure full brand standards compliance with all products, equipment, tools, operating systems, processes, and initiatives to promote operational excellence and superior customer experiences.
  • Provide action plans with timing to resolve any system noncompliance and perform field audits for quality assurance.
  • Assist Directors of Business Development in managing regional initiatives and projects, providing coaching and guidance for other BDC IIs, and assisting with market expansion and sales initiatives.
  • Represent the business unit in franchise councils and take ownership of various responsibilities within the council.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations management or related fields required.
  • Experience in project management, leadership, budgets, profit & loss, employee supervision, customer service, and conflict resolution required.
  • Sales experience in the service industry preferred.
  • Multi-unit franchise operations or strategic business planning experience preferred.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking skills.
  • Project management, organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Coaching and influencing skills.
  • Executive presence with the ability to speak publicly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to review financials and key metrics and determine a corrective course of action.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed for the business unit.

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate of the current range offered is $85,000-$105,000 plus bonus.
