Position Summary:

The Data Strategy Consultant plays a pivotal role in crafting and implementing high-value data and analytics solutions that utilize AnalyticsIQ's data and services to cultivate enduring client relationships. This role involves grasping client requirements, conceptualizing solutions, estimating analytical efforts for delivery, presenting data solutions to clients, and collaborating with internal data science and analytics teams to ensure successful implementation. While not directly accountable for budgeting, the consultant leverages their expertise in our data offerings to support revenue growth in data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage consultatively with prospects and clients to identify business challenges and define, design, and deliver tailored data and analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to conduct exploratory data analyses and profile analyses on clients' historical data using tools like Alteryx or SAS, deriving initial business insights and guiding clients in formulating more effective future strategies.
  • Build collaborative relationships with analysts, scientists, operations, and sales teams.
  • Contribute to the development of linear and logistic regression models or other advanced statistical models to explore statistical patterns aligned with client needs, while streamlining the creation of predictive models and analytics services.
  • Review statistical models and monitor their performance, assisting clients in identifying valuable data assets from our database based on specific use cases.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with delivered data science solutions by soliciting feedback on data and analytical performance.
  • Assist in developing proposals and support the presentation of data insights and solutions to clients.
  • Play a role in acquiring new business from both new and existing clients by nurturing relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance current data solutions, and continuously offering new data products and analytics services.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in data sciences or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong proficiency in reading and auditing datasets from clients/vendors in relevant programming languages (SAS, Alteryx).
  • In-depth understanding of statistical predictive modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with segmentation and clustering analysis.
  • Proficient in SAS programming.
  • Experience with ad-hoc analyses.
  • Expertise in Excel and Tableau for generating complex reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to create visualizations, organize data, and design dashboards with a solid grasp of statistical concepts and data mapping.
  • Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and experience engaging with various digital marketing partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting data in an accessible manner.
