Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Franchise Business Consultant for our Merry Maids division. This role is pivotal in enhancing franchisee sales and profitability, coaching for operational excellence, and ensuring adherence to brand standards by delivering high-level business consulting expertise to a designated group of franchisees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance franchise sales and profitability while coaching for operational excellence and ensuring brand standards compliance through expert business consulting.
  • Foster revenue growth by crafting annual sales, marketing, and financial strategies for each franchisee.
  • Conduct business assessments, track progress, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations while building commitment and addressing objections.
  • Train and guide franchisees in utilizing financial analysis tools, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow reviews, and pricing strategies.
  • Identify business needs and opportunities for performance improvement and growth by leveraging company resources.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices through various formats, including group presentations and in-person training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards across all products, equipment, and operational processes to promote excellence and superior customer experiences.
  • Develop action plans to address any compliance issues and conduct field audits for quality assurance.
  • Support Directors of Business Development in managing regional initiatives, providing coaching for other consultants, and assisting with market expansion efforts.
  • Lead conventions and events, managing content, programming, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Represent the business unit in franchise councils and take ownership of various responsibilities within the council.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations management or related fields.
  • Proven experience in project management, leadership, budgeting, profit & loss management, customer service, and conflict resolution.
  • Sales experience in the service industry is preferred.
  • Experience in multi-unit franchise operations or strategic business planning is advantageous.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to think strategically and innovatively.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong coaching and influencing abilities.
  • Professional presence with the capability to engage in public speaking, including workshops and training sessions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze financials and key metrics to determine corrective actions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as required for business needs, including overnight stays.

The compensation range for this position reflects various factors considered in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, and organizational needs. Typically, individuals are not hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are based on the specific circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range offered is $85,000-$105,000 plus bonus.
