YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will be essential in delivering support and guidance to youth and families in need. Your duties will encompass crisis evaluation, intervention strategies, and resource coordination aimed at fostering the welfare of those you serve.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology
  • A minimum of two years of experience in crisis intervention
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license required

KEY DUTIES:

  • Perform crisis evaluations and interventions in accordance with established protocols
  • Create personalized crisis management plans emphasizing family engagement
  • Facilitate access to vital services, including housing, healthcare, and educational resources
  • Provide ongoing support and referrals to additional services
  • Offer on-call crisis assistance during specified hours
  • Remain knowledgeable about local community resources for effective service coordination
  • Deliver tailored support to youth in distress
