Position Overview

The Children's Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) is in search of dedicated Child Behavioral Support Specialists who will provide essential therapeutic assistance to children across various environments, including their homes, educational institutions, and community settings. These specialists will execute clinical strategies derived from behavioral treatment plans aimed at facilitating positive and lasting transformations in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in fields such as Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Sociology, Education, or Criminal Justice is preferred. Candidates with an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits towards a Bachelor's Degree, accompanied by a minimum of one year of verified full-time experience in behavioral health services, will also be considered. Additionally, Licensed Registered Nurses or individuals with degrees in other disciplines who possess one year of verified full-time experience in behavioral health services are welcome to apply.
  • Certification Requirement: RBT Certification is required prior to assignment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with children and families.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and experience with data entry in electronic medical records (EMR) systems are essential.
