Position Summary:

The Vice President of Brand Strategy will oversee a team of sales leaders tasked with driving the growth of new lending, leasing, and crop insurance initiatives while enhancing the cross-selling of Compeer's diverse products and services through established relationships with both current and prospective clients.

This role is pivotal in positioning the organization as the leading provider of lending, crop insurance, and financial services to eligible clientele. The VP will ensure effective management of resources, credit administration, compliance, profitability, and loan quality across the designated region.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for up to 50% remote work, and is available at any Compeer office location.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a brand champion; formulate marketplace-specific strategies that align with Core Markets and the organization's strategic vision and objectives.
  • Develop and nurture a sales culture within Core Markets, implementing effective sales and relationship management programs.
  • Meet and exceed business targets related to loans, leases, crop insurance, credit quality, client satisfaction, financial spread, and return on equity.
  • Contribute to the formulation of long-term strategic business plans within Core Markets to fulfill Compeer's objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to credit administration quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, agribusiness, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • At least seven years of leadership and management experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations pertinent to the financial industry.
  • Expertise in sales and sales management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the local market landscape.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Compeer Financial is currently unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment visa.
