Position Overview

The Integrated Material Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing material deficiencies that may impact the annual MRO induction objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess material gaps and risks related to MRO induction goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to establish and monitor a material gap closure strategy.
  • Engage key stakeholders to formulate, discuss, and document mitigation strategies, delivering weekly plans to address part shortages.
  • Prepare comprehensive part reports and actively participate in IPMT and Critical Part review meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated customer service expertise.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly for interactions with executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with SAP transaction codes.
  • Experience with Pratt & Whitney systems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of jet engine components and configurations.
  • Knowledge of jet engine functionality and overhaul processes.
  • Experience in P&W aftermarket or material management/supply chain is a plus.
  • Resourceful problem-solving abilities, recognizing that each challenge is unique.

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is preferred.

Travel and Work Requirements

  • Travel requirements are less than 10%.
  • 1st shift work hours with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, allowing flexibility within this timeframe.
