Position Overview

The Integrated Material Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless induction of materials for maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). This position involves identifying potential material shortages and collaborating with various technical teams to develop effective strategies for resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess material deficiencies and risks related to annual MRO induction objectives.
  • Work closely with technical experts to prioritize tasks and create a comprehensive material gap closure strategy.
  • Facilitate discussions among key stakeholders to devise, document, and implement mitigation strategies. Prepare and present weekly reports on part shortages.
  • Generate detailed part reports and actively participate in Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT) and Critical Part review meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly for interactions with executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with SAP transaction codes.
  • Experience with Pratt & Whitney systems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of jet engine components and configurations.
  • Knowledge of jet engine operations and overhaul processes.
  • Experience in aftermarket services or material management within supply chains is a plus.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively.

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Travel and Work Schedule

  • Travel requirements are minimal, less than 10%.
  • This position operates on a first shift schedule, with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, allowing flexibility within that timeframe.
