Lead a Team of Innovative Developers

Cognizant is seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Drupal Developer or Drupal Developer to work with our diverse global clients. As a team member, you will be responsible for building innovative applications that power modern businesses.

An ideal candidate should enjoy working in a collaborative, geographically distributed team environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust solutions using Drupal, Symfony 2, and PHP to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee database solution implementation, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams working with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure developed solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Lead system integration to ensure seamless operation.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate them into the developer.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural solutions and processes.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the financial industry.
Requirements:
  • Possess strong technical skills in Database and SQL, Drupal, Drupal-Symphony 2, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and PHP.
  • Have experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Show proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable architecture solutions.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

The estimated salary for this position is $121,419 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
