Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Governance Strategist to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Board's data strategy, overseeing the implementation of data management initiatives, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

  • Develop strategic roadmap, priorities, and specific work activities of the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO).
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Board data strategy, data governance policies, enterprise-level data operations, and data capability development initiatives.
  • Oversee a portfolio of data governance and information management initiatives, improving the business value of data through discoverability, accessibility, quality, and usability of enterprise data assets.
  • Ensure compliance with data-related legal and regulatory requirements, including Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), OPEN Government Data Act (OGDA), Financial Data Transparency Act (FDTA), etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, computer science, information management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years full-time working experience, with 10 out of 12 years in data management, data governance, or data science functions.
  • Minimum 5 out of 12 years of experience in banking, financial market, economic policy, or financial regulation.
  • Minimum 7 years of people management experience, including supervising people managers.

What We Offer:

  • Estimated salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year.
  • Relocation assistance is available.
  • Some travel (10-15%) within the United States and internationally may be required.
