We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Strategist to lead our monetary statistics team at Disability Solutions.

Estimated Salary: $143,000 - $163,000 per yearJob Description

The Chief Data Strategist will oversee the management of our division's monetary statistics, contributing to research, analytical, and operational needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing financial data and providing leadership in data governance and technology use.
  • Developing and implementing data-related policies and procedures, as well as software system enhancements.
  • Representing the division in key liaison roles and collaborating with research, technical, and operational communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or a related field, along with experience in creating, using, and maintaining complex data assets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, information technology, or a related field, or a master's degree with relevant experience.
  • At least six years of experience in creating, using, and/or maintaining complex data assets, preferably in a research environment.
  • Professional knowledge of economics, finance, statistics, computer science, or a business administration.
  • Experience leading Agile teams and delivering complex projects on time and on budget.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
