Squad Leader, Fidelity Medicare Services

The Role

Fidelity's Healthcare Division has initiated a groundbreaking Medicare initiative aimed at assisting individuals in selecting and enrolling in premium Medicare plans. As an integral member of this pioneering team, you will have the chance to contribute to the establishment and expansion of a service that could benefit millions.

Our Squad Leaders are collaborative leaders who are dedicated to aiding individuals in navigating intricate challenges within the healthcare sector.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Collaborate with design and research teams to create digital solutions that guide our clients through complex healthcare choices.
  • Develop and manage OKPIs to assess and monitor business performance.
  • Lead a group of engineers without formal authority to develop products and features that serve our clients.
  • Equip our partners in sales, service, and operations with the necessary tools and training to effectively implement the features you develop.
  • Work alongside our Product Area Leader and stakeholders from UXD, development, sales, operations, and channel management to create a strategic roadmap for your Squad over the next 3-12 months.
  • Gather feedback from relevant stakeholders in forums such as demonstrations to ensure solutions align with user requirements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by regularly collaborating with Squad members and Chapter Leaders to align on resource needs, skill enhancement, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with our Senior Leadership team to establish and expand a new Fidelity business that could positively affect millions.
  • You are client-focused and committed to deepening your understanding of both client and associate experiences.
  • Experience in the Medicare or health insurance sector is advantageous.
  • You adopt a data-driven approach to grasp customer needs, translate strategic goals into actionable plans, and prioritize to enhance delivered value.
  • You possess familiarity with Agile methodologies, practices, and tools, including JIRA, Mural, Confluence, or MS Teams.
  • You identify, communicate, and eliminate obstacles to progress.
  • You are skilled at leading, influencing, and inspiring colleagues without formal authority, with a proven record of building high-performing teams.
  • You are knowledgeable about design thinking and apply human-centered design principles to make empathetic business decisions.
