Principal AI/ML Engineer

Position Summary

The Workplace Investing AI Delivery Engineering Chapter team is on the lookout for a Machine Learning / Gen AI engineer to architect, execute, and enhance technical solutions for AI ML applications within the healthcare sector.

Required Expertise and Skills

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Machine Learning engineer, proficient in building feature engineering pipelines, deploying AI models, and refining model inference.
  • Strong programming capabilities in Python and Java.
  • Proven experience in developing Python-based APIs (FastAPI / Flask).
  • Skilled in designing and implementing graph data models that accurately represent complex relationships, ensuring efficient querying and traversal.
  • Familiarity with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow) and infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Python, Ansible, CFT).
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing AWS services: Deploying models in Sagemaker, leveraging cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting, and setting up EC2/EKS compute environments.
  • Experience with development & deployment tools such as Jenkins, Github, Artifactory, Sonar, etc.
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience conducting in-depth data analysis across various database platforms.
  • Experience in ML model monitoring, observability, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with Gen AI solutions involving Large Language Models, LangChain, Llama Index, Prompt Engineering, and Fine-tuning.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

As the AI Solution Lead, you will spearhead innovative solutions across a range of AI applications, including recommendation systems, healthcare guidance, and information extraction utilizing large language models (LLMs). These solutions will be seamlessly integrated across web platforms, mobile applications, and human interfaces.
