Cloud Solutions Engineer

The Team

This position will collaborate with various agile teams to deliver technology solutions that enhance our core platform capabilities. You will work closely with team leaders and other stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on both business and technological objectives, facilitating progress and delivery.

The Role

As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will assume a pivotal role in defining and implementing technical architectures within the Content Management domain. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business leaders and technical teams to establish target architectures and roadmaps, while actively participating in the development of cutting-edge software components for a leading FinTech organization. You will engage with business sponsors, project managers, engineers, and architects to design, implement, test, and deploy comprehensive technology solutions.

As part of the architecture team, you will advocate for innovation, promote standardization, and deliver modern technology practices that benefit our clients. Your contributions will influence the evolution of the product roadmap in alignment with business objectives, providing leadership in computing services and platform adoption.

The Expertise You Have

6+ years of experience in engineering or developing web-enabled applications, along with a combination of the following:

  • A robust engineering background or a proven track record as a Solutions Architect, focusing on designing and constructing new solutions.
  • Proficiency with AWS or other cloud service providers.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with Micro-Service Architecture and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud computing aspects, including infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data management.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C++, or JavaScript.
  • A solid grasp of continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Experience with serverless architecture, design, and implementation.
  • A keen interest or experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, Automated Testing, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including both technical and non-technical members.
  • Contributions to the open-source community are a plus.
