Principal AI/ML Engineer

Position Summary

The Workplace Investing AI Delivery Engineering Chapter team is on the lookout for a seasoned Machine Learning / Gen AI engineer to architect, execute, and enhance technical solutions for AI and ML applications within the healthcare sector.

Required Expertise and Skills

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Machine Learning engineer, focusing on feature engineering pipelines, model deployment, and inference optimization.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and Java.
  • Strong background in developing Python-based APIs (FastAPI / Flask).
  • Experience in designing and implementing graph data models that effectively represent complex relationships, ensuring efficient querying and traversal.
  • Familiarity with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow) and infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Python, Ansible, CFT).
  • Proven experience utilizing AWS services: deploying models in Sagemaker, and leveraging cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting. Proficient in EC2/EKS compute setups.
  • Experience with development and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Sonar, etc.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience conducting in-depth data analysis across various database platforms.
  • Experience in ML model monitoring, observability, and performance testing.
  • Experience working on Gen AI solutions with Large Language Models, LangChain, Llama Index, Prompt Engineering, and Fine-tuning.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

As the AI Solution Lead, you will spearhead innovative solutions across a variety of AI applications, including recommendation systems, healthcare guidance, and information extraction utilizing large language models (LLMs). These solutions will be integrated seamlessly across web platforms, mobile applications, and human interfaces.
