The Role
Fidelity's Healthcare Division has introduced a new Medicare initiative aimed at assisting individuals in selecting and enrolling in high-quality Medicare options. As an integral member of this pioneering team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and expanding a business that has the potential to positively affect millions.
Our Squad Leaders are collaborative leaders who are dedicated to helping individuals navigate intricate challenges within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities and Skills Required
- Collaborate with design and research teams to create digital solutions that aid our clients in making informed healthcare choices.
- Develop and manage OKPIs to evaluate and monitor business impact.
- Guide a team of engineers without formal authority to create products and features that serve our clients.
- Equip our partners in sales, service, and operations with the necessary documentation and training to effectively utilize the features you develop.
- Work alongside our Product Area Leader and stakeholders from UXD, development, sales, operations, and channel management to formulate a 3-12 month strategic plan for your Squad.
- Gather input from affected stakeholders (in forums such as Demo and others) to ensure that solutions align with user requirements.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by regularly collaborating with Squad members and Chapter Leaders to align on resource needs, skill enhancement, and learning opportunities that support Squad members' growth.
- Partner with our Senior Leadership team to build and expand a new Fidelity business that could have a significant impact on many lives.
- Exhibit a strong customer focus and a commitment to deepening your understanding of both client and associate experiences.
- Previous experience in the Medicare or health insurance sector is advantageous.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to comprehend customer needs, convert strategic goals into actionable plans, and prioritize initiatives to enhance delivered value.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, practices, and processes, along with experience using collaboration tools such as JIRA, Mural, Confluence, or MS Teams.
- Identify, communicate, and eliminate obstacles to progress.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, influence, and inspire colleagues without formal authority, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
- Understand design thinking principles and apply human-centered design mindsets to make empathetic business decisions.
