Position Overview

The Marketing Intelligence team at PACCAR is in search of a proactive and analytical individual who possesses a strong business acumen to spearhead marketing differentiation initiatives for PACCAR Parts. As the Market Insights Manager, you will serve as the authority on industry trends and insights, tasked with monitoring, evaluating, and presenting critical market data. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of PACCAR Parts' competitive positioning and market presence. You will collaborate with various teams, assess key performance indicators, and lead projects focused on marketing intelligence for PACCAR Parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research on market differentiation data and insights for internal stakeholders to facilitate data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate essential business metrics and data points to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to internal teams.
  • Utilize data visualization and presentation tools to create executive summaries, dashboards, and infographics that aid sales and marketing leaders in grasping the current market landscape.
  • Oversee the management and presentation of relevant market differentiation content, providing quarterly updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with global partners to uphold PACCAR's record of worldwide dealer locations and other international reports.
  • Stay informed on industry developments and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance value as the subject matter expert for PACCAR Parts.
  • Lead initiatives for the Dealer Expansion Program.
  • Manage and execute projects related to marketing intelligence and other special assignments with an emphasis on sustainability and efficiency.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • In-depth product knowledge and experience in aftermarket sales, marketing, or distribution is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing executive-level presentations is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-functional business environment.
  • Experience in analyzing key drivers of the Aftermarket Parts sector, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake is preferred.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business or marketing role.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven capability to work in a team-oriented, multi-functional business setting.
  • Solid proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
