About the Role

Garnet Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Navigator to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Experience team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patient complaints and grievances, working closely with our leadership team to resolve issues and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the Language Assistance Program (LAP) to ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) and DNV regulations.
  • Assist patients and families with notarizing documents, as needed, after obtaining NYS Notary Public Certification.
  • Collaborate with our Risk Management team to identify and address potential issues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in acute healthcare, with a focus on patient care services, physician practice, or hospital performance improvement.
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a clean, well-lit, heated, or ventilated facility.
  • No routine exposure to hazards.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
