Key Responsibilities- Perform moderately advanced level of building maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in selecting facility service vendors and coordinating vendor-related work.
- Administer the facility Safety Program, including conducting employee safety training and reporting safety activity to regional office.
- Replace, repair, and maintain electrical and plumbing fixtures, perform minor carpentry and painting, and monitor facility backup generator system.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facility HVAC equipment.
- Maintain facility security, including keeping records of keys issued and security clearance levels.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Related work experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical wiring, building maintenance, and HVAC.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics, electronics, and National Electric Code and National Electric Safety Code.
Exposure to dust and fluctuating indoor temperatures. Work and travel in inclement weather.
Physical RequirementsAbility to carry, climb, and operate an extension ladder (28 ft high and 75 pounds) and work while standing for extended periods.
