Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner, instructing, directing, and scheduling patients and visitors as needed.
  • Payment Processing: Receive payments from patients, issue receipts, and post payment data accurately and efficiently.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and management to ensure seamless patient care and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate patient records, updating demographic and insurance information, and preparing batch reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and that our facilities operate efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of customer service or healthcare-related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Intermediate level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting or experience working with electronic health records.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to learn and apply job functions.
