About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the InsideHigherEd team as a Legal Administrative Coordinator. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide high-level administrative support to our attorneys and play a critical role in the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management (45%):
    • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
    • Develop and implement project plans, including setting priorities, allocating resources, and tracking progress.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to identify project needs and develop solutions.
  • Administrative Support (45%):
    • Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
    • Prepare and distribute documents, including correspondence, reports, and presentations.
    • Manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information, including attorney-client privileged documents.
  • Office Reception and General Support (10%):
    • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients, including greeting guests, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
    • Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of administrative experience, including calendar management and project management.
    • Proven track record of providing high-level administrative support to attorneys and other senior-level professionals.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • At least 5 years of experience in a high-level administrative role, preferably in a legal or academic setting.
    • Experience with project management software, including Serengeti/Legal Tracker and SharePoint.
    • Notary Public license preferred.
