Job Overview

The Inventory Management Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations within the Inventory Management department at Quick Holdings LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follow verbal directives from the supervisor.
  2. Retrieve products from various storage locations including racks, pallets, and shelves.
  3. Accurately pick and count orders for dispatch, ensuring the correct items are selected.
  4. Maintain organization of stock and oversee inventory levels.
  5. Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency.
  6. Repackage and reorganize items in storage and picking areas.
  7. Inspect products and pallets for any defects or damages.
  8. Adhere to established receiving, replenishment, and storage protocols.
  9. Assist in unloading and staging incoming shipments.
  10. Utilize forklifts and other equipment safely and effectively.
  11. Examine both incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
  12. Receive, unload, and properly place incoming inventory items.
  13. Conduct cycle counts as necessary and report findings or adjustments as per company procedures.
  14. Provide suggestions for improving warehouse processes.
  15. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  1. Strong background in warehouse operations.
  2. Basic math skills and calculator proficiency.
  3. Willingness to learn and enhance skills.
  4. High energy and motivation to collaborate with warehouse staff.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  6. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  7. Availability for extended hours or overtime as required.
  8. Compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.
  9. Proficient use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  10. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
  11. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area at the end of each shift.
  12. Assist in maintaining the safety and security of the warehouse.

Preferred:

  1. High school diploma and one year of relevant shipping and receiving experience.
  2. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Proven ability to manage time effectively and respond to urgent issues.
  5. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  6. Professional demeanor and integrity in representing the company.
  7. Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  8. Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  9. Comfortable using PCs and software applications, including Microsoft Office.
  10. Experience with RF scanning devices.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a warehouse setting.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Visual acuity to read product labels and reports.
  2. Able to hear well enough to communicate effectively and recognize warning signals.
  3. Capable of standing for the duration of the shift.
  4. Ability to walk and move without assistance.
  5. Mobility to operate warehouse machinery.
  6. Ability to sit as needed during the shift.
  7. Capability to stoop or kneel for short periods.
  8. Ability to lift weights ranging from 30 lbs to 50 lbs.
  9. Manual dexterity to handle packaging and operate equipment.
