Key Responsibilities:

The Inventory Management Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the supervisor and team members to achieve departmental objectives related to productivity, quality, and service.

  • Maintain the integrity of inventory records.
  • Oversee inventory management to align with facility standards for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Facilitate the seamless flow of orders from logistics to storage.
  • Supervise logistics operations to ensure precise order scheduling and foster positive relationships with customers.
  • Provide uninterrupted administrative support to the team.
  • Communicate effectively with the inventory group to generate reports on customer interactions, productivity, and quality.
  • Guide daily operations to meet established goals.
  • Assist team members in resolving issues to maintain high accuracy levels.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to ensure adequate staffing for operational needs.
  • Organize workflow in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Deliver training on standard operating procedures and material handling.
  • Support the supervisor in promoting a safe work environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is essential.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification and experience with powered industrial trucks.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and scanning technologies is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move items as required.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
