Position: Program Support Specialist (Contact Center Supervisor)

Role Title: Administrative Office Specialist III

Salary Range: $45,000 - $51,000 / year

Pay Grade: 3

Key Responsibilities
Independently executes technical office functions in support of a specific program area, frequently necessitating the application of established policies and procedures.

Core Activities:

Acts as a primary contact and information resource for one or more programs, which may include conducting eligibility assessments for various health services; serves as a lead worker to guide, mentor, and train colleagues; designs and oversees workflow processes; investigates and processes claims; gathers data and compiles reports on program activities.

May provide performance feedback regarding staff to the appropriate supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficient knowledge of medical office protocols, computer and software technologies, medical terminology, and customer service principles;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Strong organizational abilities and experience with software applications and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., WORD, EXCEL, and database management) as well as general office equipment (copier, fax, calculator);
  • Capability and experience in establishing and maintaining files and manuals;
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality;
  • Competence in adhering to and applying established procedures and relevant policies.

Additional Considerations
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
Coursework in Medical Terminology
