Job Summary

Gulfeagle Supply is a leading distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products, with a strong presence in the national market. We are a family-owned business that prides itself on delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Supervise and coordinate with Branch Managers to ensure sales and operational performance meet or exceed budgeted targets.
    • Ensure a safe working environment, proper safety training, and review fleet condition to meet DOT and OSHA standards.
    • Review profit and loss statements with Branch Managers monthly and submit reports by established deadlines.
    • Ensure administrative functions in the branch operate smoothly at all times.
    • Work with Branch Managers to maintain inventory levels within corporate-established goals and take measures to prevent theft.
    • Implement company policies at the branch level and ensure compliance.
    • Assist in preparing annual operations and sales budgets and review before forwarding.
  • Sales Management
    • Oversee, direct, and assist outside salesmen (Territory Managers) in assigned areas, tracking success and holding them accountable.
    • Identify non-performers and develop written plans of action with timelines.
    • Establish annual sales budgets for salespeople in assigned areas.
    • Identify new products or options that may enhance sales in a profitable way and advise the Executive Vice President of Sales.
    • Negotiate pricing with Preferred Vendors to close sales or grow business.
  • People Development
    • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and staffing branches, counseling Branch Managers or taking direct action.
    • Grow and develop personnel, building a team for success.
    • Approve requests for compensation changes and conduct annual Branch Manager evaluations.
  • Company Growth
    • Seek new opportunities for additional branches within the Regional Manager's geographic boundaries.
    • Complete market surveys on possible expansion cities and/or market areas.
    • Formulate business plans to execute growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a construction materials management sales role.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise, and communicate effectively with subordinates.
    • Demonstrated product and industry knowledge.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability.
