Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market presence. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and execute strategic initiatives to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities in the Med-Tech, Lifesciences, Aerospace, Smart Infrastructure, Environmental, and Industrial Automation sectors.
- Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for generating new leads and expanding our client base through networking events, trade shows, and digital marketing.
- Client Engagement: Actively engage in prospecting activities, client meetings, and presentations to drive lead generation and meet revenue targets.
- Sales Metrics Tracking: Monitor and present sales performance metrics to leadership, providing insights on sales funnel progression and market trends using CRM tools.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, understanding their goals to develop tailored solutions.
- Proposal Development: Create persuasive proposals and presentations for prospective clients, collaborating with internal stakeholders for successful project implementation.
- Negotiations: Oversee price and contract negotiations with clients, managing the sales cycle from initial contact to transaction closure.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10+ years in consultative selling and business development, with a proven track record in closing large, multi-year agreements and engaging with C-suite executives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus but not required.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements within the electronics manufacturing services sector, preferably with experience in Med-Tech, Lifesciences, and Aerospace.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to develop tailored solutions to meet client needs.
