Sales Support Specialist for HVAC Solutions at Hercules Industries

This role is focused on delivering essential administrative assistance to external sales agents involved in the HVAC sector. Responsibilities include generating price quotes, processing orders, and ensuring top-notch customer service through various communication channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare price quotes, manage purchase orders, and handle order modifications from sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create quotations for specialized products.
  • Maintain customer records, inventory levels, and order tracking within the computer system.
  • Follow up on orders, expedite shipping, and maintain communication with clients.
  • Assist clients with product returns and order pickups.
  • Engage in training sessions to improve product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and adhere to deadlines.
  • Support customer relationship management and provide counter sales assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in administrative roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the HVAC industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Adept at assessing customer needs and proposing solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong communication abilities with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills for calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standard Monday to Friday work schedule during business hours.
  • Overtime and occasional weekend work may be necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands effectively.
  • Specific vision capabilities are required.
