The HVAC Solutions Sales Specialist is tasked with fostering enduring relationships with property owners to enhance account engagement and customer loyalty with contractor and consulting engineer/architect accounts.

Your role will involve providing expertise and guidance in the form of developing HVAC/Hydronic system solutions tailored to customer challenges, considering both financial and performance aspects.

Your primary objective will be to deliver comprehensive solutions for the most energy-efficient buildings.

Key Responsibilities:


Identify customer needs, create, and implement a tailored business strategy to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

Transform leads into actionable opportunities by applying the appropriate sales methodology, pinpointing necessary project team members, delegating tasks, and communicating subsequent steps in the process.

Collect and verify initial information and conduct facility assessments, construction plan evaluations, or other necessary activities.
Oversee project take-off, equipment selection, proposal pricing, sales strategy, and the integration of equipment, controls, and services.

Support clients by addressing technical inquiries regarding HVAC systems, products, and alternative system applications, including controls, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Travel to client job sites is a requirement, which may involve outdoor work and/or tasks in mechanical/equipment rooms.

During site visits, the employee may encounter varying weather conditions; moving mechanical components; heights, and other fluctuating environmental factors based on location.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least two (2) years of experience in solution sales within HVAC and control systems, as well as associated service agreements.
A proven history of success in prospecting and technical sales is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Strong attention to detail is crucial. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is necessary. A valid driver's license with no significant or frequent traffic violations in the past 12 months is required, including but not limited to:

DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving, or multiple minor infractions or preventable accidents in the previous 3 years.

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing ladders, navigating stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs, walking for extended periods, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and bending.

Much of the role will involve working at a computer or traveling to client and prospective client locations.
