Job Overview
The Private Client Division at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is actively seeking a Client Relations Support Specialist for their branch office.

The primary duty of the Client Relations Support Specialist is to assist Financial Advisors in sales, marketing, and the daily operations of a flourishing wealth management practice.

This position demands exceptional interpersonal and multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.

This role will involve executing a variety of daily tasks to ensure the team enhances their business, operates efficiently, and adheres to service excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Adapt to meet the service requirements of diverse accounts to address daily inquiries from clients and advisors.
2. Rapidly acquire knowledge of various forms and account procedures to assist clients effectively.
3. Learn to leverage research and technical support tools.
4. Generate high-quality analytical reports utilizing various software applications.
5. Promote the firm's services by strengthening relationships with advisors through prompt and accurate responses to inquiries.
6. Conduct oneself with integrity and respect in all circumstances.
7. Cultivate and expand existing client relationships.
8. Support marketing initiatives and organize client events.
9. Prioritize daily tasks, monitor project progress and deadlines, manage phone communications, take messages, and schedule appointments.
10. Exhibit initiative and a desire to enhance knowledge of regulations and industry concepts.
11. Engage with other support team members, Financial Advisors, and Management within the local office.
Qualifications
- Series 7 and 63/65 (or 66) required within the first six months of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a sales assistant/Client Service Associate in a corporate or brokerage setting.
- High proficiency with technology, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and the ability to quickly learn internal software systems.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude seeking growth and opportunities to expand their role.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of daily tasks, coupled with excellent organizational skills.
- Capable of effectively communicating with all levels of staff, management, and clients in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.
- Ability to meet established deadlines and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proven capability to manage multiple tasks to completion with minimal supervision.

Compensation:


For job postings in California, Oppenheimer is mandated by law to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position.

This salary range is specific to California and considers various factors in determining salary decisions, including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $55,000 to $65,000. Additionally, certain positions may qualify for other forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses.
