About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care by developing and implementing education programs for nursing staff.

You will be responsible for leading education initiatives, providing mentorship and coaching to nursing staff, and collaborating with academic and practice settings to promote continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, including in-services, workshops, and online training modules
  • Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with academic and practice settings to develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of our patients and staff
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or higher
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in nursing, including 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience
  • Previous educational nursing instructor experience is preferred
  • Current Vermont RN licensure and/or Advanced Practice Licensure in Vermont
  • Unit-specific training certifications as required per specific department operational framework
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants who have:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
  • 7 years of clinical experience in nursing, including 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience
  • Previous experience designing, facilitating, and validating education or training experiences
  • Fully proficient in all areas covered in Basic Integrated Nursing General Orientation; able to instruct independently
