Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Training Materials: Create training material/curriculum for Chaplain, Chaplain Candidate, and Religious Affairs Specialist.
  • Revise Lesson Plans: Revise USA-IRL lesson plans and other training and education products.
  • Advise Staff and Faculty: Advise USA-IRL staff and faculty on training and prepare training and education materials for CHCP Courses using TDC or other platforms.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Automated Training Development: Minimum of two (2) year experience working in automated training development databases such as: Blackboard and SharePoint.
  • Education and Certification: Must have either post-graduate academic credentials or professional certification, or both, in the areas of spiritual care, religious support or chaplaincy.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Be competent in relevant fields of specialization such as marriage and family, counseling, world religions and multi-faith religious support, CPE, ethics, pluralistic ministry, and practical theology.
  • ATS-Accreditable Educational Materials: Qualified to support or provide Association of Theological Schools (ATS)-accreditable educational materials.
  • Experience in Automated Training Scheduling: Minimum of two (2) year experience working in automated training scheduling databases such as: ATRRS.
  • Course Validation Process: Experience with course validation process IAW TRADOC regulations.
  • Training and Certification: Graduate of Blackboard and SharePoint training or attend the first available classes.
  • U.S. Citizenship and Background Checks: U.S. Citizenship and able to pass background checks.
