GForce Life Sciences is seeking a highly experienced Medical Affairs Consultant to join our team. As a Medical Affairs Strategist, you will play a critical role in defining and executing our medical strategy, working closely with our Executive Director, Medical Strategy Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Medical Strategy: Collaborate with Medical Affairs colleagues and external vendors to execute asset strategy and tactical plans, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to developed timelines.
- Track and Analyze Performance: Monitor priority Medical Affairs tactics and performance against goals and budget, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide Scientific Input: Offer high-quality scientific and clinical input and review of medical content for promotional and medical materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support Field Medical Affairs: Ensure Field Medical Affairs content is consistent with Medical Affairs strategy, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate with Sales Management: Collaborate with sales management to provide training to sales staff, ensuring they have the necessary medical knowledge to effectively engage with customers.
- Assist with Scientific Searches and Data Summaries: Support the development of data gap analysis and key messages, as well as assist with the execution of evidence-generation plans as applicable.
- Review Medical Education Grant Requests: Evaluate medical education grant requests to ensure they align with Medical Affairs strategy and are scientifically sound.
- Represent Medical Affairs: Represent Medical Affairs at medical and promotional review meetings, providing expert medical input and ensuring scientific accuracy.
- Education: M.D. or PharmD from a recognized school of medicine or pharmacy, PMHNP, PhD, or PsyD.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs, with prior experience as a Medical Director (within Medical Affairs) required.
- Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of CDER/CBER regulations regarding the evaluation and approval of pharmaceuticals, as well as experience with Veeva Vault (PromoMats and MedComms).
- Preferred Qualifications: Peri-launch experience, neuroscience experience, and experience in Clinical Development for neuroscience products.
- Contract Duration: 12+ month contract with option to extend.
- Remote Work: Fully remote with ability to work EST hours, with potential travel (less than 10%).
