Position Overview:
Acts as a financial analyst and accounting liaison for technical asset teams, aiding in the compilation and dissemination of monthly financial reports while preparing schedules for company-wide employee meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functions as an analyst and accounting liaison for technical asset teams, which encompasses the creation of monthly financial reports, overseeing capital forecasts, budget development, quarterly performance reviews, crafting asset management profiles, and conducting research and analysis of operational expenditures along with ad hoc reporting. Generates cost and production reports for field staff and collaborates with them to provide additional information as required for specific projects.
  • Engages in the organization of monthly employee open book management meetings and executive reports. The analysts are accountable for all elements of the monthly meetings, including the preparation of schedules, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • During the company’s closing process, ensures the timely distribution of internal monthly financial reports, conducts analysis and review of these reports for accuracy, and prepares and records Operating Expense and AFE Accruals.
  • Creates specialized reports and completes unique projects by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing information for various groups within the organization, including executives, technical staff, and accountants.
  • Assists in the formulation of the annual budget alongside Asset Teams and Planning & Budgeting.
  • Safeguards employee trust and protects operations by maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Enhances technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops, reviewing professional literature, establishing personal networks, and engaging in professional associations.
  • Contributes to team success by achieving related outcomes as necessary.
  • Upholds the company’s core values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment, and innovation.

  • Follows established work schedules, attendance policies, and demonstrates punctuality for work and meetings.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in accounting or as an analyst.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional data management proficiency.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Capable of managing multiple, diverse tasks of varying priorities independently.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and precision in task execution and results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in translating complex financial data into organized and presentable formats.
  • Outstanding administrative and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in the use of the following software:
  • Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Preferred: PowerBI, SAP.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year institution in accounting, finance, or business.
