Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Project Management Training Specialist to join our dynamic team at vTech Solution. This role is pivotal in enhancing our project management capabilities through effective training and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine instructional materials including job aids, templates, forms, and presentation decks tailored for technology project management.
  • Design, implement, and deliver comprehensive training programs aimed at technology project managers, promoting best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and team members to create relevant content for training and documentation.
  • Facilitate the approval process for developed procedures and training materials in conjunction with management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and assessment of training initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Engage with program managers and business leaders to identify training needs and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management and project sponsors.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement necessary changes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in technology project management.
  • Proven ability to create clear and concise documentation, including job aids and training materials.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on technology project management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in creating procedural documentation and training materials.
  • Experience in real-time training delivery and creating on-demand training resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
  • PMP Certification from PMI is preferred.
