Position Overview:
The Fleet Service Operator plays a crucial role in the logistics of our service operations. This position involves the collection and delivery of customer vehicles for maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will uphold the values of TEC Equipment, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the pick-up of customer vehicles as instructed by the service team and return them to the facility for servicing.
  • Welcome each customer with genuine warmth and understanding, recognizing the importance of minimizing their downtime.
  • Efficiently deliver vehicles back to customers once service is completed, addressing any inquiries they may have regarding the work performed.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for cleanliness and any issues that may have arisen during their stay, ensuring they are returned in pristine condition.
  • Report any damages observed during inspections to management immediately.
  • Prioritize safety in all operations, adhering to company policies and regulations regarding vehicle operation.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free parking area and assist with additional tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving Class 8 trucks.
  • Possession of a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License and ability to meet insurance standards.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in navigating both electronic and paper maps.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities effectively, and demonstrate sound judgment in a dynamic environment.
  • Consistent attendance and a commitment to safety are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this role ranges from $19.30 to $28.95 per hour.
