Position: Senior Analyst Financial Reporting

About the Role: In the capacity of a Senior Analyst in Financial Reporting, you will take the lead in the preparation and submission of all requisite reports for regulatory bodies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Department of Transportation (DOT). Your responsibilities will also encompass the management of monthly internal financial statements and the execution of intricate accounting tasks related to investments and stock compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate financial reporting processes for the SEC and DOT, along with other necessary ad-hoc reporting requirements
  • Engage with diverse teams to guarantee precision in external reporting
  • Compile federal and international financial surveys and regulatory documentation
  • Consolidate and oversee monthly internal financial statements
  • Administer accounting functions for investments and stock compensation
  • Coordinate the preparation of 401K financial statements and associated audits
  • Investigate technical accounting matters
  • Support the implementation of Climate Disclosure regulations
  • Lead cross-departmental project teams as required
  • And additional related tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate status
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and communicate effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Legally authorized to work in the country

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting with an SEC registrant
  • Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical and communication capabilities

Compensation:

  • Base salary ranging from $64,000.00 to $103,100.00 annually
