Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and evaluate quarterly internal consolidated financial statements, including Work in Process (WIP) schedules
  • Oversee month-end closing processes and ensure accurate account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
  • Facilitate the month-end close by managing journal entries and specific tasks while ensuring thorough documentation and reconciliations
  • Conduct variance analyses for key accounts to support the FP&A and leadership teams in deriving insights from monthly financial reports
  • Lead various accounting cycles, focusing on enhancing existing processes through effective design
  • Assist with annual external audits by preparing necessary schedules and providing required documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy
  • Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in accounting processes
  • Participate in special projects as needed, such as tax compliance and system upgrades.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team of senior and staff accountants
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functions
  • Strong understanding of US accounting principles
