- Oversee the analysis, reporting, and execution of financial data in compliance with standards.
- Conduct financial analysis and consolidation in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Implement and propose enhancements to accounting and auditing procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and adherence to regulations.
- Examine financial figures, cash flows, and trends by collaborating closely with finance leaders on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Develop and manage a monthly/quarterly financial timetable by establishing and adhering to deadlines.
- Foster and sustain relationships with external auditors and various locations to achieve shared objectives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and best practices while keeping team members informed of new or changing accounting standards.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial statement preparation.
- Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications (experience with JD Edwards is advantageous).
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration; a Master's Degree is preferred; CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in an international corporate environment.
- Experience in public accounting is beneficial.
