Job Overview

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for a range of billing activities that ensure the accurate preparation and distribution of invoices. Your role will involve processing payments and obtaining necessary approvals while analyzing billing data to generate insightful reports on revenue and expenditures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Billing Functions: Execute various billing tasks under general supervision, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Reporting: Develop and prepare reports as required to track financial performance.
  • Billing Management: Plan, document, and oversee patient/client billing and collection processes, including the preparation and distribution of itemized statements.
  • Transaction Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in transactions to maintain accurate records.
  • Document Review: Assess documents such as purchase orders and sales tickets to compute fees and charges accurately.
  • Vendor Invoice Processing: Verify and process vendor invoices along with payment information to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a High School diploma/GED along with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant billing or bookkeeping experience. Alternatively, candidates with one (1) year of experience in a lower-level billing position may also be considered.
