Thompson Palm Springs stands as the desert's premier destination, catering to distinguished locals and worldly travelers alike.

Located centrally along the renowned Palm Canyon Drive, the hotel will feature a selection of 168 bungalow-style guest accommodations and a comprehensive event space totaling 8,000 square feet, alongside additional outdoor and unique venues.

Thompson Palm Springs will also introduce its signature dining establishment, which will complement the menus at two exclusive pools and their respective lounges.

With an extensive ground-level retail area exceeding 30,000 square feet, guests will enjoy access to a cutting-edge fitness center and a pioneering tasting room from HALL Napa Valley, with more tenants anticipated.


The Head Chef will oversee the Culinary Operations of our restaurant, Lola Rose, Grand Mezze.

The Head Chef will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to devise and execute menus and concepts, while the role is structured to empower individuals to operate with the autonomy akin to that of an independent owner/operator.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior leader by developing and undertaking essential management duties
  • Act as the intermediary between all dining room operations and culinary personnel
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of diverse food items
  • Innovate and implement imaginative menu offerings within the restaurant's theme
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute special events and holiday celebrations
  • Manage hourly kitchen staff through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluations, and recruitment
  • May supervise other key culinary leadership roles, including supervisors and junior Sous Chefs
  • Guide and mentor the team towards achieving outstanding guest service and employee satisfaction
  • Monitor food production, ordering, costs, and quality consistently on a daily basis
  • Engage in marketing initiatives directly related to the specific restaurant
The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 to $96,000. This represents the expected annual compensation for this role at Thompson Palm Springs, with individual salary decisions influenced by various factors including experience and education.
