As a key member of the Finished Lubricants Customer Service team, the Account Specialist plays a vital role in managing direct customer interactions throughout the order-to-cash cycle. This includes overseeing product supply and delivery, processing orders, addressing customer inquiries, ensuring product quality, and handling invoicing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional networking skills to engage effectively with both internal stakeholders within the P66 Lubricants value chain and external clients. This role requires the ability to work autonomously to resolve order and billing discrepancies while effectively prioritizing daily tasks. Cultural awareness and adaptability in communication style are essential to foster and enhance business relationships with all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inputting orders and liaising with customers to manage order modifications.
  • Ensuring precise order placement, error-free deliveries, timely billing, and fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Overseeing product shipments and confirming their timely arrival at customer locations.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Logistics to identify alternative supply options during product shortages.
  • Acting as the primary contact for customer discussions related to order challenges and complaints.
  • Building a strong partnership with Sales Representatives to independently address customer inquiries within the Customer Service framework.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues across the value chain, including P66 facilities, Product Management, Sales, Logistics, Transportation, and Finance.
  • Developing the capability to support other Customer Service roles during absences or increased workloads.
  • Working with freight forwarders and plants to address any issues related to container loading dates or vessel sailing schedules.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without restrictions.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiarity with Truck, Rail, and Waterborne transportation modes and INCO terms.
  • Experience with freight forwarding.
  • Export experience in the lubricants or petrochemical sectors, particularly in Central America, Asia, Europe, and Mexico.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and issues simultaneously while driving results and achieving meaningful business improvements.
