Position Overview

SRG Stairs, a prominent provider in the construction services sector, focuses on stairs, flooring, and window treatments for the residential building industry. We are currently in search of a dedicated Office Support Specialist, also referred to within SRG Stairs as a Customer Service Representative (CSR).

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role within the Stairs Team, contributing to the achievement of the company's sales and revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

This role involves cultivating and sustaining profitable relationships with clients, ensuring that every customer interaction is handled with utmost care and attention to detail, while fulfilling all customer needs.

The Representative is tasked with upholding the company’s vision and mission. Regular interaction with both current and potential clients positions this role as a key influencer in customer satisfaction and overall company success, necessitating a high degree of professionalism, sensitivity, and tact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their processes and operational frameworks.
  • Screen and onboard new subcontractors while nurturing relationships with the current subcontractor network.
  • Ensure subcontractor adherence to schedules and company protocols, assess performance, provide constructive feedback, and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and sales presentations.
  • Organize workflows to meet client deadlines effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule installation jobs.
  • Process customer orders promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain effective communication with the General Manager and Sales Team, providing regular updates to ensure alignment with sales and customer objectives.
  • Oversee the fulfillment process from order submission to invoicing.
  • Handle phone communications professionally and efficiently.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing sales orders and invoices.
  • Present and discuss the company’s products and services with clients in a manner that reflects quality, integrity, and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly, facilitating satisfactory resolutions.
  • Understand and apply the company’s pricing system and policies appropriately.
  • Support customer sales through service, education, and effective problem-solving, involving relevant team members as needed.
  • Utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills within the scope of the role.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $40,000 to $43,000 annually.
  • Eligibility for medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of employment.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching available after one year.
  • Vacation and holiday pay eligibility during the first year.
  • Additional benefits available.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening (post-employment offer).
