Position Overview:
The Sales Support Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the MidMarket Sales teams by providing essential support and resources to optimize sales opportunities. This position involves collaborating with prospects and sales personnel to efficiently manage all sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of prospect expectations through discussions with them and collaboration with Business Performance Consultants, Advisors, District Managers, and sales management.
2. Schedule and conduct informative sessions with prospects, ensuring clarity and addressing any inquiries they may have.
3. Communicate with all stakeholders, both internal and external, regarding the necessary items for pricing proposals, including identifying any data collection gaps.
4. Collaborate with sales personnel and management concerning bids, reports, information, and the quote pricing process.
5. Act as a project manager to ensure timely completion of prospect proposal meetings.
6. Proactively identify and communicate any issues that may affect the overall customer experience to management.
7. Identify opportunities for process improvements, establish standards, and communicate changes to internal resources.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a related field is preferred.
Skills:
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with database software is advantageous.
- Capable of planning and organizing workflow under tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships.
Travel Requirements:
Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
